How
many quests can be accommodated comfortably?
80 people with a dance
floor and round tables of 10 each. 100 people using rectangular
tables and rounds also with a dance floor. We also offer a sit
down, served dinner reception for 140 people with a dance floor
between two seating areas – 40 and 100.
How long is the facility available?
5 hours – 1 hour cocktails,
plus 4 hours for dinner/reception. A $250.00 overtime charge
will be incurred per ˝ hour.
Are there linens available?
Standard linens are
included. Specialty Linens are additional. What colors? Most
primary and secondary colors.
Is there space available for an outside ceremony?
Yes, weather permitting.
A ceremony tent, chairs, and accessories may be rented at an
additional cost along with a $2.00 per person set up fee. If
you plan to use Moselem just for an outside ceremony, there
will be a $300 facility charge.
Is there a back-up plan for bad weather?
Yes, Ceremonies outside
can be moved indoors and set up on the dance floor if the reception
is indoors. If your event is an outdoor tented event, the ceremony
may be held indoors as well or under the tent, the reception
will be served under the tented area.
Is open bar a requirement?
Preferred, but not
required.
We can accommodate any request...i.e. Open Bar, Stroke Bar,
Beer & Wine Bar, Cash for Cocktails. This is at the host’s
discretion.
Can you provide any type of centerpiece?
Yes, Simple and very
elegant – 1 rose in bud vase per table
Can food choices be sampled?
Yes, food tasting is
offered if selections are kept within reason.
Is there somewhere for the wedding party to relax during the
cocktail hour?
We can provide a hospitality
room at no charge for the wedding party. We also provide, if
available at no charge, a bridal suite for the bride to use
before the wedding or reception and we offer an overnight stay
for the bride & groom that evening with complimentary breakfast
the next morning. We also offer out-of-town guests overnight
accommodations.
Are special request dinners available?
Examples: children,
vegetarian, food allergies? Yes, with final count.
Will other functions be going on during ceremony and reception?
It depends on the size
of the reception. If a large number is booked, you will have
sole access to the facility. You might experience a stray golfer
passing through.
Is smoking permitted?
No, Moselem's clubhouse is a smoke-fee building.
How
many guests may be seated at the tables?
Round tables seat 8,
10, or if rectangular tables are used we can accommodate 8,
10, 16 or 20.
Where will the gift table, cake table, DJ/Band be placed?
In the same room as
the dance floor.
When do you need final guest count?
Food selection with
estimated count 2 weeks prior to the event. Final count 72 hours
prior to the event.
If
we must, at what time can we get into the facility?
1 hour before cocktails.
Do we have the option of a head table or a sweetheart table?
Yes!
Is
there a charge for the dance floor?
We do charge for the dance floor and it is priced per section
at $15. 16 to 20 sections are needed depending on the number
of guests.
How much of a deposit is required?
A deposit of $10.00
per guest is required and is non-refundable. 50% of the estimated
total charges are due 60 days prior to the date of the event,
which become part of the deposit. The remainder of the balance
is due three days prior to event. Cancellation of the event
will result in forfeit of entire deposit.
